Varsity

The Metuchen boys varsity soccer team finished with a record of 10-8-1. They had many dominant wins, such as a 7-1 victory over Woodbridge Magnet and a 5-0 victory over Edison High School. They also had crucial victories against larger schools like Spotswood and Highland Park. Senior Peter Xarhoulakos led the team in total points with 34, while senior captain Reid Kirin was close behind him with 33 total points. Lots of underclassmen, including Sophomores Jeremy Mark, Tyler Chen, and goalkeeper Patrick Turc, were valuable starters to the team this year. Four bulldogs earned a spot on the GMC Blue Division team: Aidan Geary, Peter Xarhoulakos, and captains Reid Kirin and Oliver Ames.

Junior Varsity

The Metuchen boys' Junior Varsity had a great season overall, with many players contributing to their overall goal scoring. Sophomore Rafael Padilla led the team in goals this year, with a total of five. Just behind him, Freshman Khelan Smith had four goals scored on the year. The team benefited from many players in various positions on the pitch. Midfielders Milan Shah and freshman standouts Ellis Kirin and Owen Clancy contributed much to the team. Defenders Abhiram Bharath and Johannes Staal led a strong defensive line for the team.

Freshmen

The boys' freshman soccer team finished with a record of 3-5 on the year. The team had big wins against larger schools like Carteret (5-0) and Edison (1-0). Five different players scored goals in the Carteret game, including Victor Nachev, Owen Clancy, Nana Yaw Asamoah, Khelan Smith, and Luke Van Leeuwen. On the attack, Alexander Yin and Robert Busch had a strong presence up top, with Luke Fam leading the midfield. On defense, centerback Nicholas Richardson was a strong contributor, even scoring a free-kick goal in a game at North Brunswick.
