Ice Hockey in MHS

Did you know that there is an ice hockey team at Metuchen High School? Well, there is! It’s a conjoined team including Metuchen High School, Edison High School, and John P. Stevens High School. This is a winter sport, and the season starts around late November. Most practices are on Mondays and Wednesdays every week at The Club at Woodbridge. There are no tryouts, so it doesn’t matter if you're very experienced or just starting; many different players range in experience. I joined the team my freshman year when I first discovered there was a team. It’s not broadcasted everywhere like the other sports are, mainly because it's not only a Metuchen sport.
