Do You Feel It?

What do you see in their eyes?

Do you see the flames of determination?

Do you see the tides of grief?

Do you see a blank canvas of emotion?

Or, do you see nothing at all?

What do you feel when met with the ocean?

Do you continuously sink your feet into the sand?

Do you squint your eyes as the sun glows off the surface of the water?

Attempting to extend the radiance of the sun?

Do you feel your shoulders lower and your problems drift away?

Or, do you feel nothing at all?

What do you think when you see the moon?

Do you find it beautiful?

Do you find yourself gazing?

Onward, lost in thought

Or, do you feel nothing?

And as the autumn leaves crust over with a hum

The world covered in a powdery white glisten

Do you feel it?

Do you gleefully step through the snow, just to hear it squeak?

Do you press your hand to your ears and nose as you feel them frost over?

Do you breathe heavily in the cold, frigid air, just to see it materialize before your eyes?

Does the world ever make you feel so warm on the inside, no matter how cold it may feel on the outside?

Or, is it just me?
